Rock band KISS to hold concert honoring veterans at Nutter Center

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Rock band KISS has partnered with Hiring Our Heroes and Vet Tix to recognize veterans and members of the military Monday at the Nutter Center as part of their North American ‘Freedom to Rock’ tour.

For the Dayton concert, local Army National Guard Master Sgt. Erica Vanderventer has been selected by Hiring Our Heroes to be the band’s “Roadie for a Day” in support of the show.

There will also be a 5-minute tribute to the military during the concert, in collaboration with local Dayton government and military leaders.

Eligible Dayton-area veterans and service members can also apply to receive free tickets to the Dayton show, which are currently being given away online through the nonprofit http://www.vettix.org/
