Russia's team synchronized swimming free routine

Russia swept both the duet and team synchronized swimming events at the 2016 Rio Olympics, just as they have for every Games this century.

Headlined by Russians Natalia Ishchenko and Svetlana Romashina – who earned their fifth career Olympic golds in Rio, tying the record for most decorated synchronized swimmer – plenty of spectacular performances were put on display at the Maria Lenk Aquatic Center.
