Deputy credited for saving injured, blind fawn

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – A deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is credited with saving the life of an injured blind fawn.

The sheriff’s office posted the photo to its Facebook page Saturday saying Corporal Jeremy Davis found the fawn on the side of Morris Bridge Road.

Cpl Davis then took the animal to Bearss Animal Clinic which stayed open late to help out. The clinic will rehabilitate the fawn and then transfer it to a local zoo.
