Police responded to multiple 911 calls around 2:30 a.m. on Monday at the Walgreen’s in the 1000 block of High Street.
When officers arrived, they found a man armed with a knife holding the pharmacist hostage. He suspect had the knife to the woman’s throat.
Police ordered the suspect to release the hostage and surrender. When the suspect did not comply, an officer fatally shot the suspect.
