TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Police are investigating after two people were found with stab wounds in Trotwood early on Friday morning.
Trotwood Police say 25-year-old Dustin Chatterton heard something outside of his home. When he went to see what it was officials say he found 53-year-old Kenneth Christman slashing his car tires with a box-cutter.
Officials say Chatterton chased Christman down the street and ended up with several stab wounds to the stomach. During a scuffle, officials say Chatterton was able to take the weapon from Christman, who also suffered stab wounds.
Police were called to the scene near the intersection of Hoover Ave. and Olive Rd. around 2:30 a.m. After a driver called police, saying the two men were in the road, both bleeding.
Both have been taken to Miami Valley Hospital and are expected to be okay. Officials say Christman is facing felonious assault and trespassing charges.
