Countdown to the first presidential debate of 2016

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Friday marked exactly one month until the first presidential debate. Christopher Devine, assistant professor of political studies at the University of Dayton, joined us live on Five on 2 to talk about what to expect.

He said a lot of people will certainly tune in.

The event is scheduled for September 26 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. On the website for the Commission on Presidential Debates, it says the debate will be divided into six time segments of about 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator, and announced at least one week before the debate.
