JACKSON COUNTY, Michigan (WDTN) – The woman accused of burying her dead infant son in a backyard in Michigan is due in court on Friday morning.
Brittani Hill has already been arraigned in Jackson County, Michigan on charges of concealing a death and removing a dead body with out medical examiner permission.
Friday’s court appearance, scheduled for 9:30 a.m., will be for a probable cause hearing. Hill is expected in court again on August 30th for a preliminary hearing.
Her bond has been set at $500,000. The child’s father, Timothy Young, is still being held in a Dayton jail on unrelated charges as the extradition process continues.
Hill and Young are accused of burying their dead son in the backyard of their home in Michigan. The child was believed to be 9-months old when he died.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
