DP&L working to restore power to thousands

(WDTN) – Dayton Power and Light crews continue to work to restore power following severe weather that moved through the Miami Valley over the weekend.

At the storm’s peak roughly 23,000 customers were impacted, according to DP&L officials. At 6:30, Sunday night, the power company’s online outage map shows roughly 1,500 customers without power.

Mutual aid crews from Kentucky, Tennessee, and other parts of Ohio have been brought in to assist with restoration work.

At this time, DP&L expects expect all customers to be fully restored by Monday evening.
