Car crashes into apartment building in Trotwood

TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Trotwood Police are looking for a driver who fled the scene of an accident on Monday morning.

Police say a car crashed into the leasing office of an apartment complex in the 5900 block of Macduff Drive.

It happened around 4:10 a.m. on Monday.

According to police, the driver has left the scene by the time officers arrived.

The crash caused damage to the building. However, police say no one was inside at the time of the crash. Police believe the part of the building that was hit was being used for storage, and was unoccupied.
