HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) –  Police are investigating what they say is an armed robbery at a credit union Monday.

Police say the robbery happened at 10:44 Monday morning in the 6500 block of Brandt Pike at the River Valley Credit Union.

Sgt. Charley Taylor of the Huber Heights Police Division told 2 NEWS the black male in the photo walked into the credit union, walked to a clerk and demanded money while showing a black, semi-automatic handgun.

The man did get an unknown amount of cash and left the building, going through a nearby residential neighborhood. Taylor said the suspect dropped some of the cash while walking through the neighborhood. Police say the man got into a car and left the area.

Police are looking for the man who they describe as a medium-build black male wearing sunglasses and a khaki colored New York Yankees baseball cap.
