Time Warner Cable worker indicted for sexually assaulting patient with dementia

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A 25-year-old man has been indicted for sexually assaulting an 84-year-old woman who suffers from dementia.

James KD Brown, of Kettering, is charged with Gross Sexual Imposition of a Substantially Impaired victim.

The incident happened April 26 at the Laurelwood Assisted Living Facility in Miami Township while Brown was working as a Time Warner Cable technician.

An aide went into the room of the victim and found Brown with the woman in bed. The aide then called the Miami Township Police Department.

He is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 13.
