WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, (WDTN) —  Two men were found suffering from a heroin overdose on I-75 in Butler County Monday afternoon.

Witnesses told Ohio State Highway Patrol there was a vehicle swerving through all lanes of traffic on I-75 northbound in West Chester Township just before 5:30 p.m. They said there appeared to be a man slumped over the wheel.

When troopers arrived, they found the driver, 56-year-old Kenneth Partin, Sr. of Cincinnati, and passenger, Kenneth Partin, Jr. of Cincinnati, unresponsive.

A trooper broke a window and removed the men from the vehicle. They determined both men were suffering from a heroin overdose. Authorities administered narcan to both men, and they were taken to West Chester Hospital. They are now recovering.

Partin, Sr. is charged with OVI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
