Stolen adult tricycle returned to owner (Dayton Police Department)

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The adult tricycle stolen from a home on Ferncliff Avenue over the weekend has been returned to its rightful owner.

The tricycle was stolen Sept. 3 from a 21-year-old man who “his mother says has some medical issues and this bike is his only form of transportation,” according to a previous release from the Dayton Police Department.

Along with the bike, the thief or thieves also stole the man’s bike helmet. There is no word on the helmet as of Thursday.

The community rallied together and bought the man a new tricycle after hearing it had been stolen.

Dayton police announced Thursday that the bike had been recovered and returned to the man.
