HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – The body located off of a wooded area in Huber Heights was identified Wednesday.

The Huber Heights Police Department says the body is of Brian Wallace Moore, 35.

A walker in the area located his body around 1 p.m. Tuesday. It’s unknown how long Moore had been dead, or how long his body was there before he was found.

It’s also unclear how he died. Police say they’ve ruled his death as suspicious and are not releasing any further information.

His cause of death has yet to be determined.

Residents who live nearby told 2 NEWS on Tuesday that they’re glad the body was found.

“You’d hate to have a body lay there and nobody discover it. The families need to know what happened to their loved one. I certainly wouldn’t want mine to just lay there and not be claimed,” Earl Newell said Tuesday.

Anyone with information in regards to his death is encouraged to contact the Huber Heights Police Division at 937-233-2080.
