People line up in Beavercreek for the latest Apple offering

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – The new iPhone 7 was released Friday.

In Beavercreek, people began lining up Thursday night outside the Apple Store at The Greene to get their hands on the latest technology.

A mother and son drove from Richmond, Indiana so he could be one of the first people go grab the new phone.

Thomasina Zinser told 2 NEWS, “It was a knuckle ride here. He just knew that everyone that followed us was going to the apple store in order to get a phone. He was like there’s going to be million people there!”

Apple says the iPhone 7 Plus sold out on pre-order.
