LAKELAND, Fla. (WFLA) – Pizza is now available right at your fingertips in Lakeland. The Mobil Mart on South Florida Avenue is testing out a pizza vending machine, the first of its kind in the Tampa Bay area.
The vending machine is available 24/7 for customers to get their pizza fix.
“It’s a vending machine that makes pizza, and it’s not frozen,” Cashier George Villanueva said.

The Company, Pizza Touch, is testing three pizza vending machines — two in Orlando and one in Lakeland.
Villanueva says it’s getting a lot of attention from customers. “The company has to come replace the pizzas daily because it’s been so busy lately,” he said.
“I think it’s kind of neat,” said Wayne Anderson, who tried it out Monday evening. “I saw the machine up here the other day so I just decided to try it.”
You can pay with cash or swipe your credit card. A personal size pizza is $6 and comes in Margherita, mushroom or four cheese.
The pre-made, individually-wrapped pizzas are baked inside the vending machine.
Within two minutes the pizza is ready to eat.
