DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Volunteers filled United Rehabilitation Services today for the second annual Synchrony Financial “Engage Dayton Day”.
Last year, the company helped build a butterfly garden on the URS campus.
Wednesday, volunteers spent time with kids at URS to teach them about butterflies and art.
“We’ve had a partnership with URS for a couple years and we really feel they really align with our efforts to support working families in the community, their efforts with kids and adults who are dealing with different disabilities really aligns with our mission in the community here and in particular, not only do they provide great service and support to kids and adults with disabilities but also broader support with the families that have to deal with that as well,” said Todd Rodden, Senior Vice President of Sales at Synchrony Financial.
‘Engage Dayton’ is the largest day of volunteerism for employees at Synchrony’s Kettering location.
