WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The City of West Carrollton said Thursday a construction project will narrow traffic through the city.

East Dixie Drive between Cedar Street and Alex Road will be narrowed to one lane starting on Monday, Sept. 26, due to a waterline reconstruction project.

Construction is scheduled to be complete by November 30. The City says driveway access to businesses will be kept open at all times.

Rose Excavating & Development is the contractor for the project.

A 6-inch water line will be replaced with a 12-inch line in order to provide increased water flow to customers along the Dixie/Central corridor.

This is the second phase of the project which is funded through an Ohio Public Works Commission grant and loan.

For more information, call the West Carrollton service department at (937) 859-5184.
