SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Samsung has produced 500,000 new fixed, and safe, Galaxy Note 7 smartphones and shipped them out to stores.

The new stock has arrived to retail locations in the Bay Area.

If you have one of these recalled phones, you need to get it in and exchange it for a safe one.

KRON4 Tech Reporter Gabe Slate shows us how the exchange works, the easiest way to do it, and shows us how you will know for sure you have the newer safe device.
