FRANKLIN, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is behind bars in Warren County after allegedly robbing a Franklin Dollar General.
Police say a man wearing a gray hoodie and a bandanna went into the Dollar General on E. 6th St. in Franklin just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday.
According to police, the suspect displayed a weapon and demanded cash. He left with an undetermined amount of money and left the scene on a bicycle.
A brief investigation led police to identify Danny Ray Horne as the suspect. Police found Horne and arrested him without incident.
Police say Horne will be charged with Aggravated Robbery, Tampering with Evidence and Possession of Drugs. Officers say they found Horne in possession of heroin.
He is being held in the Warren County Jail on $120,000 bond. Horne is expected to make his first court appearance on September 30th at 1 p.m.
