Power restored in Tipp City, schools remain closed

TIPP CITY, Ohio (WDTN) — Power has been restored in Tipp City after more than two hours.

All Tipp City Schools will be closed on Wednesday due to the outage that affected large portions of the city.

People began reporting outages around 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Several sections of the city were affected.

A cause for the outage has not been reported yet.

According to a message from Tipp City Schools to parents, all schools will be closed on Wednesday. TCEP will be open.
