Man charged in connection with viral drive-by shooting prank


CINCINNATI, Ohio (WLWT) – Cincinnati police have charged a man in connection with a video that shows someone pretending to shoot passersby in Price Hill.

The video was recorded during an incident on Sept. 13. It shows someone pointing a realistic-looking gun out of a car window and pretending to shoot people on the sidewalk.

Anthony Banks, 19, has been charged with inducing panic.

According to an affidavit, Banks “caused alarm to citizens by pointing and discharging an authentic in appearance BB gun.”

Police said previously they were looking for two people in connection with the video.
