An early Halloween pet celebration at assisted living facility

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Some special visitors today at a Dayton Nursing Home.

“Pawfest” took place at the Spring Hills Singing Woods Assisted Living Facility located at 140 E. Woodbury Drive on Saturday morning.

The annual event celebrates the human-pet bond making pets more like family members than animals.

Dogs in Halloween costumes visited with the residents. The dogs even put on a pet parade.
