Police investigating attempted robbery at CVS

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police are searching for suspects in an attempted robbery at a drug store in Dayton.

It happened Saturday around noon at the CVS at 4329 W. Third St.

Officials say a pharmacy worker was approached by two men. One of them handed her a note that read “this is a robbery and we have a gun”.

When other employees realized what was happening they tried to close the doors on the men, but the suspects got away.

No money was taken and no weapons were found.
