Man killed in Dayton motorcycle crash ID’d

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A man has died in a crash in Dayton, according to officials.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as 26-year-old Jimmy Blanton II from Dayton.

Police say a minivan turning off Huffman Ave. collided with the motorcycle in the 1800 block of East Third Street just before 4:45 p.m. Sunday.

Blanton was pronounced dead on arrival by emergency crews, and they say he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
