Nearly 100 companies looking for talent at career fair

CEDARVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – One of the largest career fairs in Greene County will be held Wednesday at Cedarville University.

Cedarville University said Monday they will host the Fall Career Fair with nearly 100 companies in attendance in the Doden Field House.

The event happens Wednesday, October 5 and will run from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Some of the companies that will be looking for talent include Proctor and Gamble, General Electric, The Boeing Company, Honda and Walgeens. Well-known local companies including Reynolds and Reynolds, LexisNexis and Speedway also plan to send representatives.

“This is definitely an opportunity for students of all levels of experience to sharpen their professional networking and interviewing skills, which will better position them to gain internship experience and full-time job offers in the future,” said Jeff Reep, director of career services.

Several industries will also be represented including health care, sales, engineering, retail and data communication. Government agencies will also be at the fair including the FBI, according to the University.
