Ramp to I-70 reopens, lane to be closed 2 weeks

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — One lane has reopened on the damaged I-75 ramp to I-70.

The Ohio Department of Transportation said Thursday the right lane of the ramp will remain closed until October 20 while repairs are being made.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Dispatch says the left lane of the I-75 northbound ramp/bridge to I-70 westbound has reopened.

The right lane remains closed, as crews work to repair damage done when a semi-trailer rolled on its side Wednesday afternoon.

The truck was carrying coiled steel, according to OSP. The coils spilled during the crash, causing significant damage to the road.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
