Dayton school bus drives through yards after mechanical failure

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) –  A Dayton school bus suffered a mechanical failure Thursday afternoon and left the roadway, according to police

Police tell 2 NEWS the bus suffered an unknown mechanical failure while traveling on E. 3rd. Street and left the roadway. The bus then drove through the yards of two houses before coming to a stop near Delmar Avenue.

Four students were treated for minor injuries at the scene but none of them were taken to the hospital.

The rest of the children on the bus were taken home on another school bus.
