Fairborn utility customers issued duplicate bills

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – People in Fairborn received duplicate bills for their utilities in the most recent billing cycle.

The City of Fairborn says a third of the residents in the city may have received the extra billing.

According to a statement by the city, the Utility Division is aware of the problem and have already taken corrective action. The City wants people to know that only one payment needs to be made and if anyone has any questions they should contact the Utility Billing Office.

Customers can also check their online accounts.

Fairborn apologized for any confusion caused by the duplicate bill.
