DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The University of Dayton Department of Public Safety said Tuesday three people have been charged in connection with a string of robberies in the south student neighborhood in September.
UD warned students and faculty about an attempted burglary that happened on September 18 after a student reported being awakened by someone opening his bedroom window.
In an update sent to students at the university Tuesday, UD said they identified and interviewed three suspects. The two juvenile females and an adult male have been charged with several counts of burglary and receiving stolen property.
No names of the suspects were released.
The Department of Public Safety reminded everyone to lock doors and windows when they leave or go to bed. Officials say the suspects were able to enter residences through unlocked windows in each of these cases.
