Home Depot partners with Dayton VA to improve area

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Home Depot and the Dayton VA Medical Center partnered to upgrade the hospital’s garden area this morning.

More than 30 volunteers helped make improvements to the Dayton VA.

They fixed a deteriorating asphalt walkway to make it more accessible for vets in wheelchairs.

“We like to give back to the community and we like to hire folks that live by a core value of doing the right thing and giving back and just taking care of great customer service, and it’s an opportunity for them to be able to do that,” Gerald Mullins, Home Depot Store Manager, said.

This is the second time Home Deport volunteers have partnered with the Dayton VA.
