National coming out day


DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – 28 years ago, on the anniversary of the National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights, the human rights campaign first observed National Coming Out Day.

Nathaniel Blakeley from Have a Gay Day talks about the importance of this day as well as building acceptance.

One out of every two Americans has someone close to them who is gay or lesbian.
