Suspect taunts police for not arresting him in Facebook video; gets arrested

MORRISTOWN, TN (WATE) – An already wanted Tennessee man was arrested Sunday, found hiding in a closet, after he posted a video to Facebook taunting law enforcement.

Kelley Livesay, 34, is charged with failure to appear, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office says officers with the Narcotics/Vice Unit went to a home on King Avenue to serve the failure to appear warrant on Livesay after spotting a video he had posted to Facebook taunting and cursing officers. Deputies say he made it clear in the video he was wanted and running from justice.

Deputies found Livesay hiding in a closet. He resisted arrest, but was eventually taken into custody. During a search of Livesay’s backpack, officers found several small bags and cut straws in a black pouch.

He is being held on $29,000 bond. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
