1 dead in Wednesday morning Beavercreek car accident

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – Beavercreek Police said Wednesday one person was killed in a car accident.

The accident happened just before 7:00 Wednesday morning on Dayton-Xenia Road near the intersection of Meadowbridge Dr. in Beavercreek.

Police say a car was driving west on Dayton-Xenia road when the driver hit another vehicle that was stopped in traffic. 58-year-old Philip Berry was taken to Miami Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Two other cars were involved in the crash. The driver of one of those cars was taken to Soin Medical Center with minor injuries and the driver of the third car was not injured.

The crash is still under investigation. Beavercreek Police ask anyone who saw the accident to call them at 937-426-1225.
