DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton Police arrested a man Tuesday night after finding him in possession of a large amount of drugs.
Robert Stargell, 22 was arrested Tuesday night after a traffic stop. According to a police report, police saw a car drive away from a known drug house when they stopped the car Stargell was riding in.
Officers say in the report that when they stopped the car they noticed a strong smell of marijuana and asked the three people in the car to get out. Stargell was searched and officers found what they say was heroin, marijuana, crack cocaine and possibly fentanyl in his pockets.
Police also found more than $1400 in cash. When asked about the money Stargell admitted to selling marijuana.
Stargell was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County jail where he is facing several drug charges including trafficking and possession.
Montgomery County jail records show Stargell is scheduled to appear before a judge Wednesday afternoon.
