DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Several restaurants on Brown St. near the University of Dayton are closing, while others are opening.
The latest to announce their closing:
- Bad Frog, a frozen will close Oct.17th
- Shish Wraps closed after three years in April
- Qdoba closed in July
The latest to announcing their opening:
- BIBIBOP Asian Grill, is opening next door to Flyer Spirit. An open date is not set yet
- Zombie Dogz plans to open by Halloween of this year int he former Shish Wraps location
2 NEWS spoke with a shift leader at Fusian, a sushi restaurant on Brown St., who says the change is exciting.
“I am from Columbus originally. So, I see Dayton going in a very positive direction and to see the growth we have had in the past few years it’s been absolutely fabulous,” said Renee Beall, Fusian.
Beall attributes the seemingly consistent openings and closings on the wants of University of Dayton students.
