3 in custody after brief chase in Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton Police were involved in a chase Thursday morning that ended on Kipling Drive.

Police say two of the three men in the car ran and police chased them on foot. Officers caught up with the two men who ran and all three are now in custody.

Dayton Public Schools says police called them and asked for Rosa Parks Elementary School to be placed on lockdown. The school was locked down for about 45 minutes without incident.
