Water main break in Washington Township floods road

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Water Department is on the scene of a water main break Friday afternoon.

A water main failed flooding Lyons Road with water. Crews were forced to close Lyons Road in both directions at Woodgrove Drive Friday afternoon.

Montgomery County Environmental Services tells 2 NEWS one lane is still closed and traffic can get through the area in both directions.

Montgomery County Water Services tells 2 NEWS repair crews are on their way to fix the problem. Repairs are expected to be completed Friday evening.
