2 Florida men confirmed dead in Warren County plane crash

LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) – The names of the two people killed in Sunday’s plane crash in Warren County have been released.

The Warren County Coroner’s Office told 2 NEWS Monday that Eric Hackney, 43, and Jesse Loy, 36, were killed when the plane they were in crashed near Fort Ancient on Sunday. Both men are from Punta Gorda, Florida.

The Coroner’s Office received dental records Monday they needed to identify the people on the plane.

The plane crashed in a heavily wooded area near Fort Ancient, making it tough for investigators to access. Officials had to use boats and ATVs to get to the wreckage.

The FAA and the NTSB are still investigating the crash.
