2-car accident on Needmore Road

DAYTON (WDTN) — A driver going the wrong way on Needmore Road crashed into another car, then fled the scene.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. on Monday near Frederick Pike.

Witnesses say the driver of the car going the wrong way ran into a woman driving a dark colored Honda. The woman was shaken up and taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they’re looking for a man driving a dark colored 4-door sedan, possibly a Chevy Lumina, with a temporary tag. The car reportedly has a flat tire.

One lane of Needmore Road was closed due to the accident, east to Frederick Pike. The westbound lane was not affected. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
