TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) — Trotwood Police made a “signal 99” call for county wide assistance during a traffic stop early on Monday morning.
Police responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle sitting in the intersection of Salem Avenue and Turner Road around 1 a.m. on Monday.
When officers approached the car, they saw the driver passed out behind the wheel with a gun visible.
At that point, officers made the county wide assistance call. That was canceled a few minutes later and the driver was taken into custody.
No one was injured during the traffic stop.
Police have not announced what charges the driver might be facing.
