Dayton police will hold sobriety checkpoint tonight

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton Police Department along with the Montgomery County OVI Task Force will hold an OVI checkpoint Saturday night.

It will be held in the area of North Gettysburg Avenue and Kings Highway starting at 9 p.m.

There will also be saturation patrols nearby

The goal of the OVI task force is to reduce the number of alcohol/drug related traffic crashes, injuries and fatalities in Dayton and Montgomery County.
