Dynamite found in New Carlisle home

NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) – Clark County Deputies responded to the scene of a hazardous materials situation in the 1000 block of West Lake Ave. in New Carlisle.

According to Clark County Sheriff Gene Kelly, a woman was cleaning her home and found a stick of dynamite.

Her husband, who passed away last year, worked in the construction industry, according to the New Carlisle News.

A bomb squad will take the dynamite in a dump truck full of sand, according to the New Carlisle News. It will be dealt with in the field behind Small Engine Service Pros on N. Dayton-Lakeview Rd.
