VIDEO: Men with shotgun rob Knight’s Inn in Moraine

MORAINE, Ohio (WDTN) — Moraine Police say men with a shotgun robbed a motel early on Monday morning.

It happened just before 2 a.m. on Monday in the 2400 block of Dryden Rd. at the Knights Inn.

Police say three suspects robbed the motel. According to police, two of the suspects entered the motel armed with a shotgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk ran out of the motel, hid under a semi truck and called 911. The two suspects broke some glass, got into the register and stole an undetermined amount of cash.

The Moraine Police Department provided surveillance video from two cameras. 2 NEWS edited the two clips together.

The third suspect was waiting in the getaway car, which is described as a Chevy Camaro from the 1980s or 1990s.

The suspects are described as black males,standing between 5’8” to 6′ tall. All three were wearing hoodies.

No one was injured during the robbery and no shots were fire.

Police say there is surveillance video they’ll be collecting from the motel today. Investigators were still on scene more than an hour after the robbery collecting evidence.

No arrests have been made in relation to the investigation.

Hotel guests were not evacuated from their rooms during the robbery.
