Officers arrived at the Clark gas station in the 2600 block of East 3rd Street just after 3:00 Sunday afternoon.

Police talked with the four men who, according to a police report, has been standing outside the store for some time. Officers discovered one of the men, 55-year-old Darryl Jones, has several warrants out for his arrest.

Officers told the four men they were trespassing and as they walked away, Jones was placed in handcuffs. When officers searched a bag he had with him they found 41 gel capsules and a syringe inside. The report says Jones claimed he was a diabetic and that was why he had the syringe. Police replied that did not explain the gel capsules. Jones said he found them and picked them up.

Jones was arrested on misdemeanor charges of possessing drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Montgomery County jail.
