Cooking pumpkin seeds

Many of you will be carving pumpkins soon. but, make sure you don’t throw out the seeds, because they make a really good and healthy snack. Melanie from Spicy Olive shows you how to make them.


Clean out pumpkin and reserve seeds from pumpkin and clean extra pulp off of seeds. Dry the seeds and coat with The Spicy Olive’s Cilantro and Roasted Onion, Chipolte or Red Chili olive oil for spicy pumpkin seeds, or The Spicy Olive’s Tuscan Herb or Garlic olive oil for a savory pumpkin seed. Sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 30 minutes in a 300ºF oven until lightly browned.
