Dayton woman pleads guilty in fatal crash

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) –  The woman charged in a fatal car accident pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide Thursday.

Kyndra Shackelford pleaded guilty to the charges that stemmed from a car accident on Needmore Road in March that killed one and injured another.

Prosecutors say Shackelford was driving a stolen car and led police on a chase that ended on Needmore Road when she crashed into an SUV.

Shackelford pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault, failure to comply with the order of an officer and grand theft.

Kyndra Shackelford is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing on November 21.
