SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – With just 12 days until Election Day, Donald Trump was back in the Buckeye state Thursday rallying Ohio voters in Springfield.
Approximately 8,000 Trump supporters packed the Clark County Fairground’s Champion Center Expo in Springfield hoping their candidate will be victorious in November.
“When we win we are going to Washington DC and we are going to drain the swamp,” Trump said. “We cannot continue to be the country lead by stupid people.”
Not one to pull any punches, Trump called secretary Clinton the most corrupt person to seek the office of presidency and promising his supporter a victory on November 8th.
“We’ve had enough honestly, I think we’ve had enough of the Clintons in all fairness. Don’t you think? Had enough. I mean at what point at what point do we say it,” Trump said.
Trump said, among other things, that he will impose term limits on members of congress, blamed his opponent for ISIS and told the crowd of supporters that he plans to protect the American people from terrorist.
“If I’m President I’m going to keep radical Islamic terrorist the hell out of our country,” Trump said.
The GOP nominee told the Springfield crowd every time you see a closed factory or wiped out community in Ohio, it was essentially caused by the Clintons and vowed to build brand new planes that will fly out of Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
