Check sex offenders in your neighborhood before trick-or-treating

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – For most the Miami Valley trick-or-treating starts tonight and if you are worried about sending your child door-to-door, this tool might help ease your mind.

Ohio parents can looks can check for thousands of sex offenders in their neighborhood using an interactive map.

According to Sgt. Julie Stephens, who supervises Montgomery county’s sex offender registration program, not all offenders are prohibited from passing out candy on Halloween.
