Man runs into burning house to save neighbors

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WDTN) — A man ran into a burning home in Middletown early on Monday morning to try and save his neighbors.

Police say it happened at a house on North Avenue just after midnight.

Authorities say a man ran into the house after seeing smoke in an effort to save anyone who might be inside. According to police, the people living in the home weren’t there at the time of the fire.

WLWT reports the man was taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
